When dusk falls outside Pirbadet’s large panes, the pool complex turns into a huge and highly unique movie theater. You may watch the movie lying in the water, or just have a drink by the poolside. Pirbadet takes on a whole new appearance, sporting a DJ, catering and luscious décor.
The feature of the evening is The Party, Blake Edwards’ hilarious masterpiece from 1968, in which the Indian accident-prone actor Hrundi V. Bakshi (Sellers) manages to blow up an expensive film set. The director wants to blacklist him, but instead Bakshi gets invited to a lavish party, where he wreaks havoc among young models, superstars, and a baby elephant. Not to mention the film industry crowd by the poolside.
