During Kosmorama 2005, local, national and international films were awarded prices.
Main Competition
The winner of the Main Competition in 2005 was the Mexican film Temporada de Patos.
The award for the main competition was NOK 75.000 in distribution support.
The members of the Main Competition jury was former film consultant Karin Julsrud, film director Erik Poppe, screenwriter Iram Haq, and short film director and film student Gaute Hesthagen.
The Debutant Award
The winner of the Debutant Award 2005 was the film Thumbsucker.
The award for best debutant film was NOK 75.000 and goes to the director and producer.
The members of the debutant jury was Head of the scriptwriting studies at the Norwegian Film School Edvard Rønning, film producer Eric Vogel, and Head of SF Norge's production department Line Sandsmark.
Pitching competition
The winner of the pitching competition was Kathrine Haugen with the project Forandring Fryder.
Kathrine was awarded NOK 100.000 in development support.
The members of the jury were former film consultants Erlend Loe, Karin Julsrud og Harry Guttormsen.
Kosmorama 2006 is on its way!
The festival will be held March 24th - 30th 2006.
Welcome!
With over 90 international, national and regional films, we had an exciting program put together by our four film curators.
We took the films out of the theatre and had screenings at unusual places like Pirbadet - an indoor waterpark, Solsiden - a row of bars and cafés by the canal, and a screening on the City fort.
Kosmorama 2005 had over 22.000 visitors that enjoyed a festival without any cancellations or delays.
