We invite 30 film teams to participate in a huge film stunt which will last for the entire week of the festival.
The Film Stunt will be supervised by three competent filmmakers from the region, who will assist the participants and offer some guidance. They are Rune Denstad Langlo, Yngvild Sve Flikke and Brede Hovland. These three will supply the 30 teams with a theme, before they are let loose in the city on the festival's opening day. During the week each team makes one film based on this theme, with a duration of one minute.
The film teams will choose the genre for their own film, which may be documentary, fiction, animation or music video. On the closing day of the festival, all the films will be screened in the Liv Ullmann Theater, where they will be assessed by experienced filmmakers in front of an enthusiastic crowd.
The Film Stunt is organized in collaboration with Sony, which supplies the DV-cams, and Apple, the supplier of the editing stations. Prizes will be awarded to the makers of the best films.
Individuals as well as teams can enter the Film Stunt. The easiest way is to gather a team of at least two persons and register as a team. Those who register as individuals will be issued a team by the supervisors. State your name, age and which school you are in (if you're in one). Each team must elect one contact: this person will recieve all the necessary information from the supervisors.
